Record the details you will want later

A useful item record starts with enough context to recognize the item and remember its place in your life. OwnStats supports photos and flexible details that can grow with the record.

• Name, brand, color, quantity and your own notes
• Purchase or acquisition date and price
• Photos, serial or reference text, and other details you choose to preserve
• Current ownership status, including items you later sell

Organize around meaning

Categories give the collection a broad structure. Tags connect items across categories. Folders gather entries around a purpose, interest, project or personal theme. Favorites keep the items you revisit most within easy reach.

Search and filters help once the record grows. The result remains a collection you can browse visually as well as a database you can query when you need an answer.

Understand purchase, value, time and cost

Purchase price shows what entered the record. A current value can be added manually whenever you have a useful reference. Ownership time gives that purchase a real time horizon.

OwnStats can show gross daily holding cost from purchase price and days owned. When a current value is recorded, it can also show a net daily figure based on the difference between purchase price and recorded value. These views help explain how cost changes as an item stays with you.

Let the timeline preserve change

The record continues after the first entry. Purchases, value updates, sales and other changes form a timeline for each item and for the collection as a whole. Past ownership remains part of the story instead of disappearing from view.

Browse, review and share

Collection totals, category views, item details and yearly review images make the record useful from different distances. You can inspect one item, understand the overall picture, or create a visual summary to share.

Collection data and photos stay on the device. Optional sync uses your private iCloud to keep the record available across your Apple devices.
